Beautifully refurbished estate with clean, updated rooms and access to cooking facilities. Stunning setting and easy walking distance to town. Loved my two-week stay with convenient amenities like a microwave, fridge, and teapot in each room. Sean, the owner, was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. The grounds were well-kept with a vintage and natural charm. Highly recommend for all ages and families. A truly enjoyable and comfortable stay in a lovely manor in a picturesque location!

Great stay! The place was amazing, one of the greatest we stayed at in Ireland. Rooms were well equipped with everything we needed. Pubs and restaurants were within walking distance, which was very convenient. The hosts, Sean and Natalie, were fantastic.
The house was a little difficult to find, but with the help of Google Maps, we were able to locate it. Also, the name on the site was misspelled.

The house at Mount Pleasant Country House was a charming and cozy retreat. The room I stayed in was comfortable and the beds were incredibly inviting. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the pretty garden surrounding the house. Although breakfast wasn't provided, I found it convenient to have access to the kitchen fridge to make my own. The host, Sean, was friendly and made me feel welcomed.

We loved the beautiful surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere. The countryside view from our room was absolutely stunning. The hotel's location was perfect for us, as it was a short distance away from the city center but still easily accessible. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.
The service was lacking during our stay. Our towels and linens were not replaced in the four nights we stayed, and the toiletries were only supplied on the first day.

Our stay at Mount Pleasant was absolutely fantastic! We were warmly welcomed by Sean and the crew, who made us feel right at home. The country house itself is beautifully restored and has a charming garden. Our room was delightful, with comfortable beds that ensured a restful night's sleep. Sean, the host, was friendly and happy to share his renovation work with us. We loved the DIY breakfast option, which allowed us to make our own meals from the well-stocked kitchen fridge. The location was perfect, with a short walk through the forest leading us to a picturesque town where we enjoyed a pint of Guinness. Lastly, the surrounding area was full of surprises, from the friendly farm dog Cullen to our Ukrainian neighbors and even a donkey and llama!
Can recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Mount Pleasant Country House was a delightful experience. The owner went the extra mile by picking us up at the bus stop when we arrived late in the evening. The area was lovely and peaceful, providing a comfortable atmosphere. Although the house was slightly old-fashioned, it was still a pleasant stay. We would love to see some improvements in the decor, but overall, we would stay again and wish them success in their ongoing progress.
